Summary of the action:

The Project Low Carbon High School – also called Clicks On in Europe – is intended for secondary schools that wish to measure their carbon footprint – in order to reduce it – while raising awareness among students and teachers about the implications of energy and climate.

The objectives:

This project aims to raise awareness in secondary schools about climate change, to promote action and reinforce the cohesion between students by providing useful ways to measure the carbon footprint of their school. The involvement of the students as well as the support of the teachers and the administration and non-educative staff will be very useful to guarantee citizen engagement concerning the planet.

Details on the installation:

The PLCH (or PEBC in french) is a complete and adapted to the school calendar project: in all, there are 5 stages from raising awareness about climate change to the design of the action plan.

The PLCH, is also a set of educational resources, a developed methodological guide as well as an online simulator of carbon footprint.
